accredited organization located in the magnificent Matanuska-Susitna
Valley. Our 39 bed acute care hospital located in Palmer
offers inpatient and outpatient services including laboratory,
emergency room, obstetrical, and surgical services. We boast
a wide range of state-of-the-art outpatient services at
Valley Hospital Medical Center in Wasilla including a retail
pharmacy, urgent care clinic, home health, hospice, radiology,
mammography, infusion therapy, and outpatient surgery services.

How
to Apply for Open Team Member Positions
Individuals interested
in applying for team member positions at Valley Hospital
and Valley Hospital Medical Center may do so in person at
the Human Resources office located at Valley Hospital, 515 E. Dahlia in Palmer from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through
Friday. If you arrive before or after the hours of operation,
you may pick up and leave your application at the applicant
service center located next to the Job Opportunities Posting
Board near Human Resource Services. Applications may also
be mailed to Human Resources at P. O. Box 1687, Palmer,
AK 99645. The job number and name of the team member
position for which you are applying must be on the application
for consideration.
What
is the Recruitment Process?
We believe in
training and promoting from within whenever possible to
attract and retain career-focused employees. All team member
positions are available for a minimum of five days within
bargaining unit classification prior to being opened for
consideration of outside applicants. Team member positions
available for consideration of external applicants are posted
on plain white paper at the Hospital and on the Job Opportunity
Hotline at 907/746-8684. When you have applied for a team
member position, your skills and qualifications will be
carefully reviewed and compared with the requirements of
the position. Submitting an application does not imply an
interview will be conducted or that you will be hired for
the position. Hiring preference is given to qualified internal

All successful team members will be required to provide
current immunization records (MMR, Hepatitis), proof of
Rubella immunity, TB skin test (PPD) status documentation,
current license/certification (if applicable) and proof
of citizenship or legal residency (i.e. social security
card and drivers license/identification card, birth certificate,
legalized resident documents, etc.).
